10 x 1km

Not breaking any records with my running mileage of late.

I had intentions of heading our for a hard 30km this morning but the stars didn’t align. In the end I jogged around to the local park for an interval session. It’s been a while…

The plan was 10 x 1km with off a minute recovery. I never normally pace these too well so the idea was to ease into them, gradually getting quicker without killing myself. Reps were

3.42/3.35/3.31/3.28/3.27 3.26/3.24/3.22/3.22/3.15

First rep was a bit slow but overall pleased with that. Felt in control the whole time, the last rep did hurt a little though. Need to incorporate these more.
